- Support_WD19_4a_PPD.docx
- With the file NP_WD19_4a_FirstLastName_2.docx still open, ensure that your first and last name is displayed in the footer.
- If the footer does not display your name, delete the file and download a new copy from the SAM website.
- PROJECT STEPS
- As part of a marketing group at Pierce Property Development, you are preparing an information package for potential commercial tenants. Start by compressing only the building picture on page 1 to the E-mail (96 ppi) resolution to reduce the file size of the document.
- On page 1, position the Pierce Property Development logo using the Bottom Right with Square Text Wrapping option to balance the page.
- On page 2, use WordArt to format text as follows:
- Apply the Fill: Orange, Accent color 1; Shadow WordArt style to the entire paragraph “Metro Plaza Building” including the paragraph mark.
- Change the text wrapping to Top and Bottom.
- Change the height of the WordArt text box to 0.8″ and the width to 6.5″.
- Apply the Square text effect from the Warp section of the Transform gallery.
- Insert a Continuous section break in each of the following locations in the document to prepare for inserting columns and balancing them:
- On page 2, at the beginning of the first body paragraph, which begins “This offering is for…”.
- On page 3, at the beginning of the first heading paragraph “Property Overview”.
- On page 5, at the beginning of the paragraph “Christina Trading Co-op”.
- On page 6, in the blank paragraph before the “Copyright 2021. All rights reserved.” paragraph.
- Format the sections you created as follows:
- On page 2, format the section you created beginning “This offering is for…” and ending “drafts and cold spots.” into two columns.
- On page 5, format the section you created beginning with the “Christina Trading Co-op” paragraph and ending with the “Wilmington Central Power/VANCO” paragraph into two columns.
- On page 2, insert a Dropped Drop Cap at the beginning of the first body paragraph (“This offering is for…”).
- Insert a shape as follows:
- Near the heading “Award-Winning Features”, insert a Star: 12 Points shape from the Stars and Banners section of the Shapes gallery. [Mac Hint: 12-Point Star]
- Resize the shape to a height of 0.7″ and a width of 0.7″.
- Type #1 in the shape.
- Apply Tight text wrapping.
- Apply the Moderate Effect—Rose, Accent 6 shape style.
- Move the anchor point of the shape to the heading “Award-Winning Features” and position the shape as shown in Figure 1.
- On page 3, flip the picture of the building lobby vertically to correct its placement.
- Draw and format a text box as follows:
- Draw a text box to the left of the heading “Building Lobby”.
- Position the text box using the Top Right with Square Text Wrapping option.
- Resize the text box to a height of 2.9″ and a width of 2.7″.
- Insert text as an object from the file Support_WD19_4a_PPD.docx into the text box. (Hint: Do not copy and paste the text from the file.)
- Apply the Subtle Effect – Tan, Accent 2 shape style to the text box.
- On page 4, format the picture after the “Office Space” heading to match the other picture on this page as follows:
- Crop the picture to the Rectangle: Top Corners Rounded shape from the Rectangles section of the Crop to Shape gallery. [Mac Hint: Round Same Side Corner Rectangle]
- Apply the Black, Text 1, Lighter 35% picture border color.
- On page 5, add a 0.2″ Hanging indent to the list of donors beginning “Christina Trading Co-op” and ending “Wilmington Central Power/VANCO”.
- Insert a copyright sign symbol and a space before the text “Copyright 2021.”
