Question Description
I want you to write a graduation speech of your own. You may address your college or high school graduates. You may talk about absolutely anything that inspires you or that you think may inspire others. There is no word limit, but aim for a response of 250-500 words. Whatever you choose to discuss, your essay should accomplish these three goals:
1. Write a speech where you tell a story with a theme. (Overcoming fear of test-taking, just as an example)
2. Shares a story and provides illustrations of the theme from your own experience(s).
3. Shows an awareness of style and organization based on your reading (or listening to) Commencement Speech by David Foster Wallace.
You should read or watch (or both) Wallace’s speech before you write your own.
