As we learned in this weeks lesson, water is the most indispensablenutrient and necessary for life. However, clean water is not availableto everyone; nearly 1 billion people struggle to find access to safedrinking water, and this is happening right here in the United States.

), discuss access to clean water from a diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice viewpoint.
Diversity: Who is or isnt represented when we discuss social determinants of health, and what can we do about it? How do we change it?
Equity: What are some assumptions made around social determinants of health?
Inclusion:Who is or isnt included? What can we do so that the environment ismore welcome for everyone, focusing on those particularly excluded?
Justice:Choose one of the following: 1. public policy; 2. institutionalpractices; or 3. cultural messages, and discuss what is needed toachieve and sustain equity when we discuss social determinants ofhealth.
