Clinical Field Experience B: Instructional Strategies in an ELL Classroom

Due to COVID 19 links for observations will be provided. Please pick a observation and complete assignment based on the observation. Be sure to include observation used in reference page along with link.

Directions:

Allocate at least 3 hours in the field to support this field experience.

Spend time making observations in at least one Title I classroom setting that involves ELLs.

Use any remaining field experience hours to assist the mentor teacher in providing instruction and support to the class.

Complete the “Adapted Lesson Plan Worksheet” based on your observations. (attached)

GCU style is not required, but solid academic writing is expected.

Document the locations and hours you spend in the field on your Clinical Field Experience Verification Form.

You may review the critique of the sample lesson to figure out what to look for as you observe the Youtube lesson(s). Please provide the URL for the videos you have observed in your report.
